About US

Al Ihsan Nutrition was established in Hargeisa, Somaliland in 2015, with a mission to transform people’s health and well-being by providing affordable, high quality nutritional products to East Africa. In addition to being a lead distributor, we work to educate the public on the benefits of consuming only the highest quality products to supplement their families’ diets. This company began with University of Wisconsin graduate, Abdirahim Mohamed Eid, returning to Somaliland and discovering the prevalence of malnutrition in both the young and elderly populations, as well as a lack of quality control on the products available. As a Nutritionist by profession, he founded Al Ihsan Nutrition to address the issues of his people by importing high quality products, with an initial focus on infant formula
